We only hold data provided to us by you. Initial information is collected by us when you first approach us to do work for you. We may also collect data that is emailed to us by you. We only keep data that is necessary to run H.C.S. Carpetcare Ltd. in an efficient manner.

 

Where is your data stored?

Your data is transferred onto our password protected, main database, which is only accessible by the employees of H.C.S. Carpetcare Ltd. We never sell data we hold. Your information is held in the strictest confidence. We at H.C.S. Carpetcare Ltd. are aware that confidentiality is paramount and any sharing of data is a breach of data regulations. It is your responsibility to ensure that we hold the correct details for you or your business and keep us updated of any changes to contact information.

How long do we retain your data?

H.C.S. Carpetcare Ltd. will keep and update records for as long as we are working with you and/or for accountancy purposes to comply with tax and legal obligations.  Once the information is no longer required for accountancy and legal requirements your data will be removed from the H.C.S. Carpetcare Ltd. database and any paperwork destroyed.

Under the new regulations you have the right to know what information we hold on you or your business. Simply send your request by email to info@hcscarpetcare.co.uk  and then the data we hold for you will then be shared with you.

 

Do you have a complaint?

If you have a complaint about the way we are handling your information or how we have responded to a request for information or data removal, please let us know.
